I feel like i'm repeating myself..

..with some of my LO's. I am so addicted to the 'white space' style. When i first started digi scrapping i felt like i had to fill every spot on the page with something. Now, I'm the complete opposite; less is more, lol. Do you ever feel like your layouts start to look the same after awhile? I now find myself searching the gallery for inspiration from other people more often now, lol.

Sure. If you look at my gallery, the bulk of my layouts are one photo + 1-2 pieces of paper + a smattering of elements + a paragraph of journaling + lots of white space. This style is most appealing to me and, ultimately, achieves my goal of getting a page done in a 'reasonable' amount of time. If my goal was a piece of art, I would likely feel much differently.

I change it up by using templates. I love love LOVE templates! This is the most reasonable and time-efficient (who knew I was so rational?!) way for me to get a different look without becoming so frustrated that I give up or wasting hours searching for inspiration and then ultimately becoming stuck trying to come up with an original idea.

Yup, mine start looking the same. I have to have a vertical line going across my page. I feel like it anchors the page. It did annoy me at one time that they all had something similar about them. Then I realized that is just my style and I am going with it. I still like to step out of the box and experiment every now and then. And I love to scraplift to try new styles.

Go with what feels good. After all, it is about getting memories scrapped!

yah, i do realize that the simple styles just suit me more so i go with it. I used to HATE templates, but i have grown to love them. And i do better with just 1 or 2 pictures than several, unless i use them on a negative strip or something. I guess i found my style niche!

I think we all have our own 'style' that we always seem to use and that we are comfortable with. As long as you are happy with the finished product, who cares if all you pages are kinda the same. It is fun to use templates and they sometimes give you ideas that you wouldn't think of

yeah, i feel that way too sometimes. it makes me cringe when I have 2 similar layouts side by side in my gallery. but oh well.

Yes, I have to stop myself from positioning it the same way everytime because thats just where it wants to go! And I have the hardest time putting things to the right of my page for some reason, it just looks weird LOL
