I feel like Alexander (updated w/ a layout)
in the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.:cursing: My kids are at each other's throats and my son thinks because he's "been good" for a few hours (which by the way is debatable) I should buy him a video game.
I went up to my old school to start moving out my stuff and they have completely walled in my room with furniture from other rooms as they put in tile through the main hall. WTF!!! The secretary said they'll move it out Monday... well because I'm starting at a brand new campus, they are making us come back Monday (a week before other teachers in my district which is fine) EXCEPT how can I get my stuff out, let the new girl come in and set up her room by Wednesday for staff kids if the room is full of furniture that doesn't belong in there?
You can't even open the door. I'm so mad... they could have put that stuff in the room next door which is a conference room that NO one needs to move out of or into but no. I'm dropping the kids off with my MIL when she gets home around 1:30, but that only gives me a few hours to pack up and get out IF I can move the furniture.
My kids are now completely melting down and I honestly feel like I could crack... oh and DH is golfing after work with his dad (and MIL is riding along so the kids are mine tonight)
I swear that tanqueray bottle will put to good use this evening!
OK... the kids have calmed down, but I got VERY little moved. Just check out what I had to work with:
