Umm why did I upload it so small?!? hahaha

I can't believe I'm posting these, so embarassing-
First one ever- Feb 2008 (I didn't like it and didn't try digi again for a while)

I obviously did not understand drop shadows at all. :)

My first one using a kit.
12261-490.jpg

My first layout used this kit. I have fond memories of it. Celebrate by Gina Cabrera :)

It's so funny to see all these old kits that I recognize! I guess the digi world was so much smaller back then we all had the same kits lol

So true. There were less stores, less designers, less kits and less complications. I miss the 'good ole days' but I sure don't miss the lack of options or the totally digital elements.

I think I posted mine before in an old thread... here they are again though... December 2004

My first page obviously had NO dropshadows. My second had a tiny shadow. My third page though, YIKES. I tried to brush on the shadows myself after reading about that in some tutorial. Looked funky.

Not sure what my very first was...some of the old galleries are long gone, as is my original hard drive. :(

These are some of my earliest, from 2007.

Note the ginormous stitching and the lack of shadows...I thought this was great at the time. LOL

And this gem, which I was very proud of at the time:

And I'll admit...I still love this one...just wish I had known how to make shadows...the only ones on this page are the shadows from the template that I used. Still love the kit though...maybe I should re-do it the right way :)

I will play. These make me cringe a bit...before I learned about shadows. The first two were with Traci Reed kits from back in the day, I believe. I don't have credits on these because I don't know that I ever posted them.

All you guys and you're "Look at my horrible extraction!" Well, I'm posting this to make you all feel better. LOL

OMG Kristin! I just busted out laughing!! The design is a great idea, with framing the art, but that extraction is HILARIOUS!! Much better than I could do when I first started, I'm sure.

My total lack of shadowing...

Again, no shadowing...rocking the photomask and journaling that is HUGE.

OH yeah, I was on the extraction bandwagon, too.

Right?? The least I could have done was use the eraser & get the rest of the leaves out from around the poor kid! But then I go and use a bevel?? LOL Ah yes. I think it's safe to say I've NEVER extracted anything since. lol

oh dear...if I must. LOL

This one is from 2004. My first layout ever. NASTY!!!!

This one is from 2005 and I was quite proud of it! Gradients, rounded corners...!! LOL

And this one is partly scrapped with a kit I made. How embarrasing! LOL
