... give up my trial copy of Adobe Lightroom.
I only have 4 days left on it and I cant afford to buy it.. but I love it!!!

*waa*

Does anyone else use it? Isnt it amazing!!!!!

I love it an use it on almost every photo I scrap-I'm anxious to test out the new version...but too cheap.

OK so I'm the dumb one, I bought it right away and now I never use it! I keep thinking if I hadn't spent the money I'd be able to buy cs3!

It's definitely on my 'to buy' list, but gotta get CS3 first. :)

Glad you're enjoying it, though!

I have used the trial and I love it! It saves a lot of time! I actually use cs3 extended so technically I know that I can do whatever I can in lightroom in photoshop but I just love all the time it saves me. Maybe income tax lol!

I've got the trial as well. I have another week with it. I'm enjoying it but its making me use PSPX2 more to see how I can make the same effects. :) I'm saving up to buy a D40 so purchasing Lightroom is a long way off. Though it will be done at some point

Jordan's sister just started college, so I plan on taking advantage of that and buying the new version online with that education discount site. :)

I have it and LOOOOOVE it. Just like Shannon I use it on every pic I scrap. I got mine through Academic Superstore for $98. It was my Christmas present last year. Funny how when you are a digital scrapper all your presents turn into computer related ones LOL!

So I'm still clueless on this. In what ways does it save time for CS3ers? I do all my editing manually in CS3..is Lightroom like an action? Just streamlines things? Is it customizable?

Explain to my thick head.

Lightroom is like a one-stop shop for organizing, processing, printing, etc. I don't know that it does anything that you couldn't really do with Bridge and CS3 but it puts all your most used steps in one simple program. The idea behind it is really to streamline the process for those who have lots of photos to process. It makes it really quick and easy to add adjustments to a bunch of photos at once. What I love most is how easy it makes it to go through a bunch of photos and weed out the ones you don't like. You can quickly and easily do side-by-side comparisions, add to quick collections, add keywords, etc. I will say that if you're just using it for the presets, you're using maybe about 10% of it's real potential. :D

Ummm, that would be me! LOL I should really learn how to use it more, but mostly I just edit my pics straight from the camera, export, and scrap.

I so want this! I have only heard AWESOME things about it. I really want CS3 though....it will be a while before I can get either one though.
