I didn't get a sticker!

oh no! Even though it's just a sticker, I get bummed when I don't get one. My DD tried to take mine off my shirt and I got a little snippy with her. :D

I can send you mine! How do you feel about a lavendar Old Navy cable sweater coming with it? ;) Mine says I made a difference, So can you...Ohio Secretary of State I VOTED.

So maybe you don't want mine anyway :p

In my town, the "I voted" sticker was good for a free cup of coffee at Starbucks! Not that it matters but hey man, it's free coffee.

They were handing them out like candy here. Poor old people working the polls were a little confused with who was supposed to give them out. L.J. got one when we walked in, then they gave me two when we walked out. So L.J. got two and I got one.

I'm right there with ya'. They didn't have them where I voted either. Everybody was wearing theirs so proudly at work and I had nothin' to show for my vote. :(

I vote by absentee ballot too, and I didn't get a sticker this time. I coulda sworn a couple times ago I did get one though...

I got my "I Voted" sticker - they had 2 kinds in my precinct, the one that Lena got and the one I got ("I Voted Today - Change Our World - Vote Your Conscience"). Too bad I didn't get more than one. I did get my DH to take a pic of my sticker while I was wearing it...

Lena, I'll take it,lol. Our poor little Ohio country got nary a one for ANY of their precincts
So, yah, I was bummed too, even though it would've fallen off sooner or later, lol.

We didn't get stickers either. I'm very bothered about why they stopped giving them out here.

I overheard this when someone else asked about the sticker, so it might not be word for word. Anyway, the polling place worker told this woman that they'd received a call telling them not to give out any more stickers because several fights had broken out in the downtown and university areas of town. Basically they were considering the stickers to be a danger to peoples' welfare after that and stopped handing them out.

How sad is that? Seriously peeps, it's an election, not the end of the world. I get being passionate about your beliefs and your candidate of choice, but to come to blows over it??? Pathetic.
