I did it, I bought a computer!!!!

It should be delivered today. I'm nervous. I'm always nervous about any big purchase and I constantly question if I did the right thing. Even after all the good stuff some of you told me about Dell (which is really what I was gunna buy) I ended up buying an HP and I hope I didn't make a mistake in doing so. It was the good deal computer from Staples. It has 6GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive and with a 22" flat-screen monitor. It also has something called SuperMulti DVD Drive w/ LightScribe (no clue what that is but some guy at the store was all giddy about that feature saying he LOVES it?? LOL! Sooooo, fingers crossed that this baby can handle me! :p Now, I'm anxiously waiting for my delivery....c'mon MR. POST MAN!!!!!!!!
 
I love HP to...well Compaq really but they are made by HP! 6GB of RAM...I'm seriously jealous and you know the burg is just a hop skip and a jump away from me (I'm over in Indiana) I might just come steal it from you!!! :p

And Lightscribe ROCKS.....it's where you buy the special DVD/CDs and you can "imprint"/burn pictures/LO (the possibility are endless) the label. LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!!! :thumbup:
 
I have had two HP computers. One is like 9 years old and still runs great just a little slow. I also have lightscribe but I have never used it in the whole time Ive had the computer. You wont be sorry with HP. It is all I will ever buy
 
Oooh, I have Lightscribe on my add-on DVD burner and it really is the coolest. :thumbup: I did photo DVD's for my family a year or so ago and it really makes them look professional. :thumbup: Have fun with your new pc! :)
 
IT FINALLY GOT HERE!!!! Just now!!! Figures, it shows up just in time for me to have to leave to go to the gym! I don't wanna miss my Zumba class tonight cause they are closed the next few days for Easter! I will have to hook it all up when I get home! YAY!!!!!
 
Congrats, you're gonna love it and that monitor will be awesome. I just got a new 22in widescreen at work and it's now the one good reason I have for going to work LOL---I just realized that my HP is almost 5 years old and I haven't had any problems at all. After 2 Dells' hard drives crashed with no possible recovery after only 2 years, I thought it was time to switch to another brand and I haven't been sorry!! It does get on my nerves cause it's super slow at opening files but there's really nothing wrong with it. and I am so jealous of your 6 GB of RAM....maybe that's what I need to do , upgrade my to 2 to something more
 
I'm all hooked up and so far LOVING this computer! I'm amazed at this monitor! WOW! Amazing!! Now I'm just customizing everything since I have to start from scratch!
