The wood grain really brings out the contrast and makes the red and the picture pop, but the orange makes the whole page softer. I like the contrast, but some people would prefer the softness.

Definitely the wood grain! Fabulous layout! And yes, this is why I love digital scrapbooking too! You can always change your mind! And re-use a kit! You will never run out of a gorgeous paper or element, ever!

I'm totally for the contrast with the woodgrain. The orange is so much alike with the floral bloack... but if I kept the orangy background, I'd probably replace the floral block with woodgrain for the contrast.
It's a beautiful layout, btw
