I can't believe I live in this state

Yah, he's a right git. Good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

It's sad that the state and Chicago have come to have such a repuation for corruption in its politics. And even more sad, it's for good reason. :(

Yes he is an idiot. And yes he should've been gone a long time ago. Heck I didn't even want him to begin with. Love his crap about he didn't do anything and for the citizens of Illinois to have faith in him! HA! Definitely good riddance.
 
Unfortunately, he's not the first and he won't be the last... Usually it's mayors trying to pull that crud. What gets me is the hubris to think he could get away with it. Seriously, come on. I can see that being a Saturday Night Live sketch (except without all the profanity) or on their "news".
 
Nope, sadly he isn't. But we just got hit with Ryan and his mess and certainly don't need anymore garbage at this time. Illinois/Chicago politics have gotten to an extreme low.
 
I think one of the job requirements in politics is crook! Seriously it seems like every day we are hearing of a new person in the political world that is doing something illegal!

Hey what do you think this does for our chances of hosting the Olympics in 2016?? Maybe Mayor Daley could just buy the committee and blame it on Rod!!!

But seriously, do you really want them? Happiest day of my life was when they announced that London was getting the Olympics and not Houston.
