..that I joined the club of those typing in their own handwriting font made by Darcy!
It looks sooo cool!!! Totally weird doing it, but so much fun. And Darcy was 100% patient and super duper fast. I bought this almost a month ago and then never found the time to get it right on paper. After the sale now I thought it might take a bit longer for her to do it, but no. ONE day! She's honestly the best!

It looks exactely how I would write if I was able to write as tidy and even as a font. I'm actually feeling quite smug, that by this I am now seeing my handwriting in such a good looking way. LOL Here it is:

Totally agree. I just got mine back a week ago and I LOVE IT! It looks EXACTLY like the way I write. I am now having my mom do a sheet so I can have Darcy do my mom's writing! I can't wait!

I'm hung up on whether to do just the font or to do exclusive. Any thoughts on that?

I'm planning to get my mom's done as a Christmas presents to her, and so I can use her writing on some heritage pages I'm hoping to get done over the next year. I love seeing everyone's examples....maybe I'll even get mine done!

Well, I decided to do the exclusive one. But not because I don't want anyone else to use my handwriting. I wouldn't mind. I am benefitting from those who do the non-exclusive myself, because my fav handwritten fonts are from Darcy. But I wanted full CU rights. I'm doing photobook designs with a friend so I knew it might be handy to have my font CU ok.
If you have anything going on that might require you to own the rights to that font, you want to go exclusive. If you don't need it and don't mind others having it, the normal one should be good.

ETA: Your font looks great- I like the bold look of it!

Thanks. That's me lefthanded trying to write with a Sharpie marker. LOL But I am actually happy it turned out big and bold. That way it will be perfect for journalling even on smaller pages.
