I just want to apologize to you all for my behavior last night!! I had a disagreement with my neighbor who decided that I was a racist just because I don't like nor trust Obama. Then I come here already heated up and open the inauguration thread and unleash my fury!

I am so sorry to Aaron and all of you lovely ladies here! I love you all so much and think of you as family. Please accept my apology for bringing unnecessary and ugly drama here.
 
Paula, you're not a jerk! You're a woman who is passionate about her beliefs, and there's nothing wrong with that. You're a dear, sweet woman with a heart as big as the ocean from what I've seen. {{{HUGS}}}

I have a feeling that the others will understand... politics can get crazy, even here where it's normally so sweet!

We ARE family, which is why we can disagree, argue or even fight... but still love each other. We all know you well enough to know that you never meant to hurta anyone's feelings.. and I don't think you did.

I agree this site IS a family and whether or not we agree with the Presidency it's ok to be a sound board. I think women in general when they are passionate about something get heated. Sometimes we just have to take a step back and reexamine our feelings. Sometimes things just get the best of us. You are not a jerk..you are passionate and that's ok!!

I hope this country can have that faith and come united together in patriotism and flourish. It's HARD to relinquish our control and put our faith in somebody wholeheartedly and as a proud American, that's what I have to do and hope others follow!
 
I agree, whole heartedly with the girls. You're not a jerk at all, Paula. We're all entitled to our opinions. I for one didn't take offense. You I consider to be a part of my huge and loving SSD family. And what fun would a world be if we all thought alike,eh ;)?
 
well I missed the hullaballoo, apparently...but I just wanted to chime in because I don't think you're a jerk at all.....go easy on yourself and stop calling yourself names :p
 
Paula, I missed the excitement, but wanted to say that you could never be a jerk! From all that I have seen, you are one of the sweetest and most understanding women on this planet!
 
passion and politics can make anyone act in ways they are not used to...everyone is entitled to their opinions and I love everyone for them....we are a family here. No worries here!:thumbup:
