Hybrid: What projects are you working on now?

I'm a big ol' lame dork. I'm not working on CT layouts, CT projects, Sweet Rewards layouts or anything else productive. I AM tending gardens and picking buttons on flair. Facebook has consumed all my energies....
 
Hahahaha Samara, Facebook's "Scramble" has me HOOKED!!

I have the monthly project, an idea for a Hawt Mama tutorial is floating around in my head, a Bo-Bunny word album, a favorite photos bracket album....ummm....yea. :o
 
Hmmm... I haven't been doing much scrap-wise lately, I think I need to take a weekend for myself to get some serious scrapping done. But with all the work that needs doing around the house right now that probably won't happen any time soon.

I am working on my Father's Day Card design, it will be made to hold a GC in it. And I've been super busy writing, as I now have 2 blogs that I'm writing for regularly, and will soon be adding a third one. That's on top of the occasional guest posts I do... lol. So most of my time's taken up writing and researching for my writing.

I'm definitly going to try to do the new workshop assignments though, those cards are exactly what I've been wanting to do. Get myself stocked up on various cards. :thumbup:
 
PFFT!!! You really don't want to know, but I'll tell you anyway. :)

We are doing mother's day, father's day and both bdays for my inlaws on the 8th so I am working on making some things for them. ie: bird album for MIL, notebooks and pens for both and I have got to figure out something else for FIL.

then I have a 2' x 2' cardboard castle I have to get done for DH's cousins wedding ( ugh, how do I get myself talked into these things?)

and I still haven't even started on the hybrid workshop album and MUST get started on that this weekend.

All of that plus the 200+ geocaching layouts I am behind on...I'm catching up though...it was 250 :)

I know there is something else, but for the life of me I can't recall at this moment.

OH yeah....I'm also working on some hybrid classes I'll be teaching beginning next month...how could I forget that?

I need more time!!!!!!
 
I just finished making my card for Bree's challenge-just need to print it off...and I need to get my photo's in my Hybrid Challenge...
 
I am still working on my mini heart album for the workshop. Went out of town and had to stop working on it. Just got caught up ( I think?! lol) on my CT stuff so I should be able to get back to it! I also have two other albums I was wanting to do. I have the Jack and mini star album sitting here begging me to do something with them. Then I want to do the cards with Bree challenge! That is awesome and everyone is already rockin' out the cards! I already did the cardbox album for my mom, but didn't get to take pics since my camera quit working on me! :thumbdown: Stupid camera...Anyhoo that is what I am doing.

I'm *still* working on a baby gift that I started several months ago. The baby will be 1 next month, lmao! Sheesh...I really should just go find some white spray paint - that's what is holding me up, I don't want to paint the whole thing 2-3 coats by brush, lol. So, I'm stuck until then... :P
 
Hmmmm.....mostly ideas at the moment! :) Although I have most of the pieces for a hybrid layout ready to print, a card semi-started and a project for my sister's baby shower I'm trying to decide on....anyone have some cute baby shower ideas for hybrid gifts? Like something for a mom-to-be? :)
 
I don't know if your sister scraps T, but I'm in the middle of making 2 albums for expecting friends (a boy and a girl). Basically making a whole scrapbook of the first year, so they can just pop the pictures in the spaces. They each got/are getting a Build-a-Bear so that each month they can take a photo of the baby with the bear, to see how much the child has grown.

I've also seen decorated paint cans filled with things. I think there's a DST thread.....lemme go look it up.....

My sister doesn't really scrap, she loves the idea of it, just not implementing. :) I could do an album for her, though- if she'd just find out if she's having a boy or a girl, it would be much easier on me! LOL

That diaper cake is too cute! Definitely doing one of those for her shower, just not sure if I'm making it here and shipping it or going to try to do it while we're both at my mom's house...was hoping to keep it a surprise!

I'm working on the the 52 Pickup card and my hybrid workshop project. I hope next weekend to start on my Father's Day present for my hubby, since I'll be out of town the following weekend....
 
I'm working on two Iris folding cards (something new I just learned about when my aunt sent me a card in the mail...) and I am in the layout design stage for a star folding album (those are my new favourites!) and have sketches done for my first chipboard album all about my daughters obsession with playgrounds (I have pictures of a dozen or so of them, so they need to go somewhere, right?) I think it'll be cute. Oh, and I REALLY need to make a father's day card for my dad but I'm pretty stuck for ideas. THe new camping kit that came out yesterday is inspring me though... just need to play a bit with it. :)

You could make it hybrid by adding in the prima flowers and ribbons and such. Maybe do some elements (like lions, giraffes, etc. or go girlie with flower elements, etc.) that are proportioned to the size of the ribbon you use to wrap the diapers and use pop dots to put them on the ribbon around the diapers. do a hybrid matching card and hanging tag like the example link that was posted. Hey, if it ain't moving, it can turned into a hybrid project!!
 
I need to start in on the 52 card pickup workshop. I've got a cute idea for my card except the way I see it in my head isn't making it to my fingers and PSE!!!
 
Total hybrid newb here! I just started choosing photos for my first chipboard album. I'm going to do the Lacing Cards Raggedy Annie album (love it!). It'll be a birthday present for my mom....if it turns out.
 
I just finished a Shutterfly 12x12 album for the president of my women's volunteer group that will be presented to her at our end of the club year party this Sunday (6/8). Now I am working on covering a little trunk (like a hatbox only looks like a suitcase) that will match the album cover. Inside will be all the flyers, brochures, awards and other memorabilia from the year.
 
last week I made 3 chipboard albums, covered a mini lunch box, and made my card for challenge #2. Everything is posted expect the card right now.

Now I need to work on a shutterfly album for my mom to give my cousin.

Finished the trunk!!!!...I don't want to post in the gallery since it's not an SSD product, but some of the SSD designers were in on the collab kit I used so I'll just post a preview here.

I need to reprint my favorite photos lo's on new paper. Then I can finish that. I've got my 52 card pickup card for this week rattling around in my head, that dang travel book I keep getting distracted from, a little box to hold all these wonderful cards we're making, and another notebook or two to play with ink transfers.

And I REALLY need to finish my girlfriends traditional album cuz the baby will be here SOON! Lol!
 
I'm trying my first hybrid project... the recipe challenge here. But if I don't decide which kit I want to buy I'll never get it done.

Just finished a bracket album for my friend's son's 1st birthday, as well as a newborn album of him. Did a mini tag newborn album for another friend. I'm starting my son's 1st birthday album (not sure what I want to do with it yet, though), the recipe challenge, and a father's day luggage tag album for my hubby.
 
I have a couple of projects going through my mind. THe first uses this amazing container that was left on the "freebie" table at work. I'll have to take a picture because there is no way to explain it. The second project I'm working on in a calendar using a kit I bought at Joanns. Thank goodness I'm out of school in a week and I'll be able to concentrate on these projects!!!
