Hybrid project question...help!

Ok I am about to make my first hybrid project. I got square clear glass votive holders. I am going to print on cardstock and adhere it to the glass. What would be the best process? I have Mod Podge and Krylon Sealant. Would I spray the paper first with Krylon, let that dry, then glue it to the glass with the Mod Podge? Or spray the Krylon after I glue it on. Even though it is clear coat I didn't know if it would show on the glass. Thanks girls! I am making these for my son's teachers.

hmm - I am not sure. I rarely seal anything so I don't know the best way to go about sealing.

Are you going to put the printed piece behind the glass so that you look at it through the glass? If so, I was looking at Tim Holtz's blog here and he was demonstrating technique for adhering something to the back of a piece of glass.

Actually I was was going to glue it to the front of the glass.

I've not used a sealer before, I normally just adhere with glue.

Cardstock may be too thick for any light to penetrate. I'd print on either clear or white sticker paper so that it adheres to the glass. follow up with avery clear laminate sheets overtop to protect it. It's the technique I use with the glass block lights I make.

I made some photo tiles last week and it worked very nicely to spray the krylon spray prior to sealing with mod podge. The inks smeared without the sealant. I then coated with modpodge over the top to adhere the edges completely. I did NOT seal my notebook that I'm working on...now I think I will spray it after it's adhered but I don't think it will work as well.
