Hybrid...here I come!

I just got done downloading a TON of templates (from all over the place) to start some hybrid projects. I can not wait to give them a try. I just don't know where I want to start.
And I downloaded a few new kits today too.
HMMMMM where to start and what to do? lol

Quick questions...what are the absolute essentials for hybrid crafts?

Oooh can't wait to see what you come up with....I'd say a good pair of scissors and strong adhesive for sure :) and I love die cuts and punches on mine.

Cardstock or presentation paper, a good pair of scissors, modge podge or "dry" adhesive like xyron, a sanding block and a bone folder or smooth edge. That's almost all I need (and I need ALL of it every time)! Of course, there are some hybrid goddesses here that may have more. check out the "Sticky" in this section for more must-haves and how-tos. :)

Thanks ladies.
I have no idea where I even want to begin. I found some of the most awesome templates from various sites. I think I have so much that I can't decide what to do first. lol.

I never do a hybrid project without:
- My Cutter Bee Scissors (super sharp with a small, sharp point for small areas)
- My 2" or 4" Xyron Cheetah and my mini Xyron tape
- A nail file (one of the big, acrylic fingernail type ones)
- Bone folder
- Various ribbon and string

Most of the time I also use:
- My Cutter Bee Xacto Knife - along with scar-free cutting mat and a straight edge

My fave "big ticket" items that I acquired over time:
- My Big Bite Crop-A-Dile
- My Purple Cow paper cutter

As a beginner, I would recommend staying away from Modge Podge for awhile... LOL. IMO, it's just not worth the headache, or the chance of ruining your first hybrid project!

Good luck! Be sure to post pics when you're finished!
