I just did level 2 tonight for the first time - AUGGHHHHHH!!!! I'll be honest, I haven't done every night like I should be but life happens you know? BUT...I can honestly say I feel like my endurance is definitely improving.

Has anyone noticed that they initially gained a few pounds? I'm thinking that I must have put on a bit of muscle because I haven't been eating any differently and I gained 3-4 lbs. I was pretty frustrated but then realized probably what was happening. I've dropped off a couple of those pounds now and am hoping that I really start shredding!

Anyone else?

i started it ... but stopped after only a couple of days :( i'm going to restart next week after my vacation this weekend :)

re. the weight gain - i've always heard that you will have some water weight gain initially w/ weight training/workouts b/c the worked muscles want to hold on to water ...so that may be affecting you too ...

eta -- your avatar is YUMMY :) !

Ha ha - yours is pretty yummy too!!! I've made many strawberry smoothies for the kids and I this summer!!

WOOT! I'm chugging right along on level 3. I haven't noticed a ton of weight loss, which is a smidge frustrating, but I have definitely noticed that I'm more toned and less jiggley (and Jordan has noticed too, so I'm not just crazy). Which for me, is more the point. Plus I know that I'm building muscle, and muscles weighs more than fat. Eventually I'll move off this lil plateau and the weight will come off too. I'm seriously kicking my own butt with level 3 to try and shed a few pounds though. I'm down maybe 3 overall, and I'd like to see that number go up. I'm eating a lot better and a lot healthier, drinking tons of water, and really really kicking my butt during the workouts. Doing as much as I can (without puking) with 3lb weights and following the harder moves. If I get to a point where I really feel like I can't do it anymore, I drop to the easier moves, but I DO NOT STOP! Although I definitely can't do the jumping lunges. That move is just insane. I've noticed my knees hurt a lot more after doing lunges, so I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what.

I had to stop after about 5 days because there was never a time when I had the living room to myself & it had become impossible to do the workout without a semi-participating audience of little boys.

But they started school yesterday & I am adding the shred back 3 days a week on the days I don't go to the gym.

I'm still going! I'm hanging out on level 1 with no mods and 3 lb. weights for now and I've lost about 4 pounds. I know I need to move up to level 2, but I'm not in a huge rush right now. I'm trying to add about 30 mins of yoga back into my day, too, but time can be tight.
