How To: Share your tracker & layouts in our monthly challenge threads.

To share your tracker image, simply click the insert image button in the toolbar at the top of your post. Your can either drag your full size tracker image into the box or click the box to open the file navigation window to navigate to and find the file on your computer.



Once you've done that your post should update with your full size tracker (keep them 800px wide) that looks like this...



Beneath that is where the fun starts. In our new media gallery, a handy box with BBCode appears that makes sharing your layouts here in the forums easy! I suggest using this option for your challenge tracker threads, but there may be cases in other places throughout the forums where you want to share your layouts differently, so feel free to play...



Just hit the copy image icon to copy the BBCode which will give you exactly the text you need to paste into your post to get lovely thumbnails that link directly to your pages in our new gallery like so...

Wander + Feature a Map


Play + Tic Tac Toe


You get the idea! It's super easy to do and and should make it much easier for you and Vanessa to track your participation to make sure you get your Sweet Rewards.

If you want to share the larger images, you can use the second option in the BBCode list to get images that will look like this...

The larger image isn't clickable but if you use the Gallery BB code (the last one on the list) it will give you a clickable image but includes some text at the bottom:

And if you don't want the text at the bottom, you need a second action (bit like it was in the old forum).
Use the second link to copy your image and paste it in your thread. Go back to your layout and copy the first link. Mark the tekst of your image in your thread, click on the 'insert link' paperclip thing (second to the left of the smilies), paste your link in the pop-up (whatever is linked will appear as text as well) and click insert.

I thought I'd chime in as the person that goes through your trackers, I'd actually LOVE it if you'd use the smaller images. As you can imagine, I do a lot of scrolling, it's just easier to see them all a little faster if you're using the smaller images.

But of course, I want you all to choose what is easiest for you.
