How much is gas?

I am really irritated by it although I realize there's virtually nothing I can do. Unless I go up to Anwar and start drilling myself LOL So I wanna know how much is gas where you are and how much it is to fill up your vehicle- if you fill it up anymore. LOL
I drive a malibu and you would think that a grocery go getter is ok, but oh no. The V6 is a gas guzzling hog. Costs $45 to fill it up and that lasts a week with hubby driving it only 15 minutes to work. My car is an old school two door cavalier (96 heeehee). I can fill it up for about 40 and drive almost a month. Yeah, I never go anywhere LOL.

Gas is 3.95 here. :cursing:

well I have no idea.. since I don't have a car :D :D

but I went to rhodeislandgas prices...

Down on the coast (about an hour away LOL) it's in the 3.80 range.. BUT, closer to home.. btwn 4-4.30 (4.30!! omgosh.. LOL that's 15 minutes away too :D :D ) Maybe it's good I don't have a car right now lmao.

here in canada gas is i think 1.30/litre which if i'm converting right is 5.00/gallon..

Gas is the same here, $3.95. It costs about $60 to fill up the van. Which once upon a time could be filled up with $30. Just crazy!

Here, gas is 1.40 a L, so a bit more than what Kristin said. It sucks!

ETA that it took over $100 to fill my van (a 2008 Uplander Extended version) yesterday.

not sure how it converts, but we pay 1.29/L here (not gallons). And that is the cheapest, one station is at 1.31/L (and we only have three stations here, so they are NUTS to be above the other two that normally priced the same).

It costs me about $60 to fill my van, but it will last about a month. It costs my hubby about $120 to fill his truck, and it lasts about 2-3 weeks (it's the vehicle we drive the most - my van is for me to get to and from work and to go to Brownies, that's it).

It's about 3.93-3.99 a gal for regular right now in my area of Oregon. I was hoping to wait to get gas after the holiday weekend, cuz I think prices will drop a few pennies, but my empty light is on and I have to get some today. :(

On post here at the Shoppette I paid 3.88 on Wednesday. I haven't driven by since though so it could be more by now. I only had to get little over half a tank and it set me back $40.

Off post on the economy it's about 1.49 euro/liter. So with the exchange and conversion from liters to gallons that make it roughly $8.90/gallon!!

Thank the lord I haven't used up all my fuel this month...there is no way I could afford to buy gas on the economy right now.

You would think I would've noticed when I filled up yesterday.....but I can't remember! LOL!

But I'm pretty sure it was like $3.80-3.85 or so. Cost me $40 to fill up my car. I DRIVE A NEON!

Frustrating, but since DF and I commute to work together, we spend half as much on gas.

I topped off my SUV last night, figuring prices would go up with the holiday weekend. I paid $3.73 a gallon on the post we live on and today low and behold it is $3.83 a gallon.

WE find the lowest we can and use the safeway fuel discounts and stuff so we're still paying under $4 but I've seen it as much as $5 already

I drove across NC on Friday and the lowest we saw was $3.85... I've been seeing $3.89 or $3.95 in the Charlotte area. We normally tank up at Costco which is .10-.15 cents cheaper...

I do think the prices will go down a bit, but I doubt we'll ever see below $3 again, honestly. I think all this "hullabuloo" about gas was in part to get us "used" to higher prices and also so we would be "thankful" when it goes back to the low-to-mid $3 range...

I remember about 4-5 years ago seeing $.99/gallon gas in Michigan, at two competing stations.

I really hope things settle down and let everyone catch their breath and figure out how to cope with these prices!

I don't understand the whole litre/gallon measurement thing. I just drive in, fill up and pay. I have no idea how much petrol is over here in the UK but I drive a new ford fiesta (do you have them in America?) smallish car. It costs me £48 to fill it up which is roughly about $96 ish .

We're running at 1.56 euro per liter which is round about $9.01 per gallon...thankfully we don't have to pay for fuel...DH's job pays for it all including personal usage.

It's of course higher here right now b/c it's a holiday weekend, but Thurs when I got gas it was 3.79/gallon and I have a tahoe..I've never let it go empty to fill up but half a tank costs me about 45-50 dollars. Gas is up to 3.89-99/gallon for the weekend

It's $3.73 - $3.86 in our part of Houston. I drive a Toyota Sienna and it costs about $60+ to fill it up every 10 days. I don't even want to talk about how much it costs to fill up dh's Tundra (almost $80). Thank goodness he's off for the summer, so we won't have to fill it up very often.

Unleaded petrol is $2.00 a litre here in New Zealand, give or take a few cents depending on which part of the country you are in.

that's around $5.40- something a gallon LOL.. I forgot the # btwn calculating it and coming back here :D :D

eta: now of course I'm second guessing myself since I Can't remember the number.. :D math isn't my strong point lmao

It's $3.99 per gallon here in Ohio, but I know where my Mom's at (in Connecticut) it's well over $4/gallon. I know it's going to cost me about $60+ to fillup, but that lasts me about 3 weeks since I have a short commute (since I'll be refilling tomorrow it will actually last me 4 weeks since I'll be flying out of town for 5 days in June). I think my Mom's vehicle is costing her about $75-$80 to fill up and her car (Honda CRV) is not fuel-economical. I think that's the only good thing about hubby being unemployed - he never drives anywhere so he's not using any gas, lol...

It's 3.79-3.89 here in NH. I drive an H3 (and it's only a 5 cyl) that gets about 17 miles to the gallon and costs around $55 to fill. DH drives a Pickup truck and it cost $77 the last time he filled it this week!

It's been in the $3.84-3.89 range, depending on where you get it, for several days now. I got it at $3.85 today

I filled up last weekend at $3.85 per gallon here in Central FL. I drive a 4Runner and it cost me around $60 to fill up. Luckily that will last me awhile since I don't have to dry all that much. But DH drives alot for work and it costs him over $100 to fill up his van. And he normally has to fill up a couple of times a week.

Next car we get will definitely be a hybrid!

Colorado gas tends to be on the cheaper side of the spectrum nationwide and I paid 3.66 at a CHEAP station before the prices went up for the holiday weekend. I haven't looked yet, but I'm assuming its close to $3.90/gallon today. Ugh.
