Have you been digi scrapping?

I just realized I'm going to hit 9 years this summer. I'm getting ready to print my 40th album! And the best part, I have all all my albums in one little cabinet! LOL! I think I love it even more now than I did back then.

Oh gosh... 10-11 years or so? I started paper scrapping hard core when my dd was a newborn and switched to digi a couple years later. She's 12 1/2 now.

40 albums???? Wow!

Yeah, in the being I think I was printing an album a every month or two. Now I try to stick to 3 albums a year. I print chronologically.

Wow! 40 albums! That's a huge accomplishment!
I started paper scrapping in 1995. Started (collecting) digi in 2010 and actually digi-scrapping in 2012.
My daughter just got married (January 24th) and I just sent her paper albums with her. There were 10 albums covering 1993-1999 and they weighed a TON! I am so thrilled that from 1999 forward are digi and take up so much less space!

Almost 12 years.. of course I have a pitiful amount of layouts for that long though :( I found digi scrapping in april of 2003 and started designing in 2004.

I've been digi for almost eight years. I started around April of 2007. Time sure flies!

also 40 albums. that is so amazing! I'm SO jealous. I really am making it a priority this year to do AND print more layouts.

When I get prints/books back, it makes me fall even more in love with it I think. It's one thing to have them on the computer, but being able to hold them. I love it!

I have in my brain that I started my first digi class in 2008. I paper scrapped since about 2001. My albums are on two bookshelves and a big Ikea Expedit thing.

I can't believe it's been that long! The only crafty hobby that's lasted more than just a couple of years.

digi scrapping since 2008... unfortunately I did not start printing til after several crashes and loss of layouts and kits and only for the past couple years now.

I started paper scrapping in 2000 and switched to digi at the very end of 2010, so I've been digi scrapping about 4 years now.

I started digi-scrapping in 2009, so about 8 years. I have ONE pitiful album printed....so your 40 is really making me feel bad. Lol

I really intend to figure out how to get some albums printed this year. Lol

I'm pretty sure it was 2009. After we moved to Iowa and I had no IRL friends! LOL

edited to add - I started paper scrapping with 1999 and did that until discovering digi. Now I do both :)

I started paper scrapping when my dd was born, and went digi shortly after. I have digital layouts from 2004, so I guess I've been digi scrapping for about 10 years.

Early 2007, I think? My first digi page is of my son at about 10 months old, so that's about when. I was dabbling in it more than anything at that time... just a page or two using freebies and self-designed stuff that I would add to my 'regular' albums and for gifts, etc. I was still primarily a paper scrapper until about 2010 when I stopped doing paper scrapping and switched to digi 100%.

It's been about 7 years for me since I started digiscrapping! SSD was one of my first homes too!! I bought from the store before joining the forums :)

I've been doing 'scrapbooks' all my life...starting with the old school clipping newspaper articles, and photos and pasting them in a random book.... but in the sense of how Scrapbooking is today....

Paper Scrapping - 2002
Paper Scrapping while playing with Digital (no real projects just random for fun) - 2006
Digital Scrapping Full time - 2014

It will be 11 years next month. (I know that because a few years ago I checked my join date for my first digihome.) I was here on opening day and shopped at SSD over the first few years, but it didn't become my digihome until 2007.

I was never really a paper scrapper; after 1 paper layout, I did my 2nd one hybrid. My 3rd was all digital and I've never looked back. I can't go count my albums right now, but I've got 1 per year since 2011 and 1 per child for each age until I switched to a family album. I finish more pages every year than I used to, but now that I have 3 active kids instead of 1 infant there are so many things I want to get scrapped that I feel like less is getting into our albums. Oh well, one of these days!

I will hit 7 years in September. I started digi scrapping when Marcus turned 1 and it was just too hard to keep up with paper scrapping because of how into everything he was!

I was making scrapbooks before it was an industry, beginning around 6th grade/1983.
I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2004.
But I didn't totally give up paper and completely switch to digi until about 2007.

So 7 years!

That sounds awesome how your albums fill a cabinet. I haven't been quite so prolific. All my albums of divi-scrapped pages would not even fill one shelf. Maybe not even half. :)

I've been digiscrapping since August 2007. I'll hit 8 years this summer. I have 4 albums so far of layouts, but I don't scrap chronologically so there is still a lot to fill in, and with no kids not quite as many pages to scrap as some of you
