How long to download?

How long does it usually take you download a kit from SSD? I'm SOOO frustrated. I DLd a kit for one of the CTs I'm on... it's 125 MB and it took 90ish minutes. I went to open it just now to work with it and the DL was bad... so now I have to do it again! My freakin' DL speed is at 18kb/sec right now, but I know it can be faster cuz I've seen it up over 500kb/sec before. Some sites DL a lot faster... is it just me, or do you find your DLs to take longer at SSD? (please don't think I'm slamming the store... not at all, I just want to know if it's me or if it's normal)
 
My DL's usually take 1-3 minutes...I can't remember what server it is for one of my CT's...but I have one that takes about 20-30 minutes to DL and sometimes it stops in the middle or takes so long it's corrupted.
 
Usually my SSD ones are pretty speedy. I can't remember last week, but they weren't slow.

When all's well at my end and the stores, my DL speed is generally 500+kb/sec.
 
I can normally DL a kit in under 2-3 minutes, at about 500 kb here. Never has it been that low for me and really SSD is just about the only place I DL from.
 
I rarely have slow speeds from SSD, the only time I do is when the store is SUPER busy, but even then it's faster than 18 kb/s...
 
UGH! I hate having to deal with stuff like this... now I get to try to communicate my problem to the "english" speaking German rep at the phone company.
 
yeah it's normally super fast for me but I did notice yesterday it was a little slow, so maybe it's just a little temporary hiccup.
 
I don't notice SSD as any slower then anywhere else. I can usually get about 150kbs-and if I download 3 things at once, that gets split 3 ways, so my average per download is 50, Usually if I'm down as low as 18 something is usually wrong with the server
 
no clue what the actual speed is... never paid attention :o but I can DL a kit in like a minute. maybe two if it's huge.
 
On occasion, my SSD downloads are very slow, around 90kbps (my highest speed is 900+kbps, though rarely, it averages 600kbps). I've always just chalked it up to high traffic levels.

Have you run a speed test? If it's in normal ranges, it could just be traffic issues at SSD.
 
It usually takes me about 2 minutes to download a kit...sometimes less than a minute and other times maybe closer to 3, but never longer than that for one kit.
