How do you like your steak??

I think Steak Tartare is ILLEGAL in a lot of states! LOL. On restaurant menus that is.

And LeeAndra - you like yours with a side of hot man?!! You're too funny.

I like it medium to medium well. With a side of mashed potatoes ;-)
 
I like rare to medium rare, but there are some cuts of meat where I say "Just walk that cow past the fire a couple of times!" :)
 
I used to like mine rare, but anymore I really much prefer medium rare (closer to rare than medium).
My very best friend loves her like you do, Eve. That's a tad too rare for me,lol.
 
P.S. Thanks, Mikkel, for seeing my joke. Everyone else was too excited to tell Eve abt how they like their meat to comment on it. :)
 
okay.. no. Icky. First Eve and now Traci's BIL. <gag>

I like mine medium well to well.. not so much pink.

And I just want it known that never again can I drink a beverage while reading threads if there is a possiblity that LeeAndra has posted. Never.
 
Not into mooing meat here! Well done...nearly burnt!! Pink goes right back to the kitchen.

Part of it is my overdeveloped olfactory senses...I can smell the blood and it totally grosses me out. I can't be anywhere near beef at all when I'm pregnant.
 
I used to only be able to eat it if it was cremated, but now, I prefer medium with no drip-age. hehehee

My hubby and my mother both like theirs still mooing, blech.
 
Rare here too! I like it mooin! ;) If it's not red I don't eat it. I don't send it back because I don't want anyone spitting in my food but I don't eat it! LOL!
 
I hate steak with a capital H! The only red meat I eat is hamburger and roast beef ala deli style as in lunch meat! I am more of a pork lover!
 
I like medium rare, but I love it when its nice and grilled dark on the outside and pink on the inside.

A friend of my father's used to say "Cut its horns, wipe its butt and slap it on a plate" LOL
 
No pink at all for me please. I always order steaks very well done.

So yeah, I'd be one of those people grossed out at your table :p
 
I like mine med-well to well done with ALL of the fat cut off. I can't stand to chew on fat. That is just disgusting!!!
 
I tend to like my steak medium well, if it is beef, but if it is venison, which I absolutely love and is much leaner than beef, then I like it medium rare, :)
