How can people LIVE like this??

Check out this apartment...totally disgusting. They said she took off without paying her rent...maybe she's actually still in there...dead! If she's not and she still keeps living like that, she'll be dead soon that's for sure!
 
Ughh that is just gross. I can never understand how anyone could live like that. And is it just me or is anyone else amazed the place has not burnt down with all those cigerettes piled up everywhere

Did you notice she had an ironing board set up with the iron and nothing stacked on it?? WTH?
 
oh man, thats just sad. There is no reason to be that bad.... its all take out and cigarrette trash. The kitty litter box was the cleanest part of that whole place! I kinda feel bad for that poor cat too.
 
So gross! There's a British show called "How Clean is Your House" and these 2 women go in to people's places with a cleaning crew and, OMG, the couple episodes I've seen, the places look like this! They actually swab the faucets, headboards, toilets, etc and culture them in a lab. One guy had Ecoli on his faucet. It's disgusting... and the people who live in these places are surprised to find that the way they live is most likely causing their ilnesses.
 
Sick! The dumbest thing is, it's mostly just TRASH! It's not like her personal junk not put away, it's trash not THROWN away! Sick.
 
Wow that is absolutley horrid, that bathroom is just omg, It makes me want to scrub my house LOL. I can't imagine who would want to live that???
 
that's really really disgusting.. that bathroom seriously made me want to heave.. trash is one thing, ok nasty.. but ..... lordy.

btw laura, there's e.coli like everywhere. .even in clean houses :D Did you see that mythbusters episode where they tested the tooth brushes they had all over the shop to see how far poo/bacteria would fly onto your toothbrush and stuff? :hehe:

I watch that show also.

I honestly think *some* people get to the point of being completely overwhelmed, and don't know where to start. Like stuff creeps up on you, and before you know it, you're buried in stuff. I can't imagine getting that way! However, I also couldn't imagine being 60 pounds overweight, but that crept up on me too! :p

Seriously though, this is just gross. I could KIND OF understand clutter, but not garbage! Blech!

Did anyone else find it ironic that she has, what looks to be, a spray cleaner on the side of her tub? LOL

Side note: all the smokes are only half smoked? What's up with that?
 
I about lost it when I got to the bathroom pics. Ick!

I feel really sorry for the person that gets to clean the place up. And then to be the next renter of that apartment....Ugh!

Precisely what I was thinking... what the heck was that stuff?!?!?! I would like to know how large that lady was with all that fast food. That was A LOT of fast food garbage... how could you eat like that all the time... not to mention the outrageous cost. whoa.
 
Seriously, it looked like small dead animals. I immediately wondered if they were the cats they couldn't find. *gag*
 
Sadly, my step-mom's parents were worse than that. THere was a tiny path through the house that you could get to, but the house was so FULL of junk that no one could sit on couches, or do anything. they saved every newspaper, magazine that came through their house, they were addicted - it would seem - to buying things on television and since they couldn't find the Ronco Electric Food Dehydrator they purchased last year, they would just buy another one. When they moved into a retirement home, it took WEEKS to clean out their house. UG.
 
Wow..couple things I took notice of..

1. She lives in that, but she irons her clothes?
2. Some of the most commonly used keys on the computer keyboard are fairly spotless..nice.
3. Looks like she almost set her couch on fire a couple times.
4. She has a cat, which probably is in there somewhere.
 
Coming from an EX-smokers POV, that is downright nasty. Most of those cigs were only halfway smoked, if that so that makes me want to believe maybe drugs were involved in the life of the person that lived there. EWW SO GROSS.
