Alright, so...I had wireless internet before and absolutely LOVED it compared to dialup, lol. But I just switched to cable and WOWZA, lol. On wireless I was downloading at around 100-150 kbps, sometimes if I was lucky I'd get 200. Right now I'm downloading at 500-700 kbps. LOVIN that, lol...gotta say!
 
Yay for awesome fast internet!! We have had cable internet for several years now too and if $$ got too tight I would totally cut back elsewhere before ever switching to DSL or dialup lol!!
 
Yep we had cable before we moved out to the country. I miss it "sniff". We have DSL which is okay but like you said..cable it FAST.
 
I have cable too which is much faster then dial-up but I could only afford the lite version which allows me to d/l at like 95kbps? somewhere around there. My FIL has the high speed cable and his is like 10 times faster then mine. For me to get that though would have been an extra 20-30 dollars a month.
