I was impressed by the Muppets cake and then the Mario cake that were both posted here on the forums...but I randomly found a link tonight to a cake decorating site, and I have to say, this cake is...well...amazing:

They *usually* don't taste very good. First, because fondant is NASTY tasting. Looks great, tastes like crap.

Also, in order for the cake to be able to hold up all of the fondant and other pieces of the cake, the decorators make the cake VERY dense and as "sturdy" as possible. That doesn't make for a very tasty cake.

With that said, there are lots of amazing looking cakes out there that taste good. Just not all of them.
