I saw this a few minutes ago. And I cannot decide if it's bad sentence structure or a really sloppy interpretation of natural science.

Because all I can think is: I hope he doesn't apply pressure to caterpillars and technically the pearl thing is pressure-free, too. And the sand grain theory is highly questionable.

I believe I have been around too many lovers of the written word AND too many scientists. LOL I still like the idea of the quote though.

Lol. Yeah - it is a nice quote, but I'm pretty sure the poor caterpillar/butterfly wouldn't survive much pressure.
