Can you hook up two printers without your computer going nutty? I have a printer/scanner combo-- the printer is blah kaka .. but I use my scanner a lot (I need it for paperwork stuff).. BUT I REALLY need a stankin printer :D :D :D I'm trying to figure out what to go buy (LOL like RIGHT NOW) .. but I dunno if I should get another combo (most of them suck don't they?) .. or.. just a cheapy printer... Oooor even better.. LOL a brand new scanner AND a brand new printer :D :D :D :D
 
I have two hooked up..i print mostly to my default but I can choose the other if I want to :)

Canon right? I was just reading a review on it saying the ink cartridges were a PITA... I'm pretty DUR when it comes to simple easy ones.. LOL are they really that complicated?
 
Yah it's a Canon..mine isn't bad b/c there's only a color and a b/w. My hubbys though has I think 5 cartridges but they are cheaper..only like 7-8 bucks a piece vs 24 for 1 color one for me
 
I would recommend an HP if you are looking for a good combo. I have three HP printers, two combos and we love them all. Mine uses only two ink cartridges and I milk those things for all their worth, they really print a lot.

I think my combo is a fax, scanner, copier, printer. It's been great and I use it for work so we are really hard on it.

I have an HP Photosmart All in One. I love it when it has ink in it. :blink:
It prints beautiful photos and scans great too.
The only con is that it takes like 5 different color cartridge plus a black ink cartridge. If you buy the kit it's like $30 for all, but if you just want ink alone its about $20. :mad:
It's worth it though for the quality of photos.
 
well I didn't end up with a combo.. just an hp something or other one (LOL) I'm hooking it up to T's computer right now.. because well I decided I didn't want 2 at mine :D If I had found a nice combo I'd havev put it in there.. I went to target.. cause I didn't realize the time before I left and everything else was closed LOL they didn't have much of a selection.. but this wasn't expensive so whatever.. I just needed a printer.. no biggie.
 
Glad you found something that will work Lauren! I have a HP Photosmart D5160 that I really like and I only paid $75 for it I think. I've had it since last June and it prints nicely and the 2 cartridges for it aren't too expensive which is a big plus!
