Yeah, Leila... you CANNOT say that jarred crap is yummier than this! I made my second batch of salsa last night... sharing the recipe!

Megan's Yummilicious, Supa' Dupa' Fresh Chunky Salsa :p

4 large tomatoes, get rid of the seeds and goo, then dice it
1/2 white onion, diced
2 large jalepenos, KEEP ALL THOSE SEEDS (if you're a wimp, get rid of the seeds from one pepper), diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lime
Cilantro, chopped (however much you like)
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together the diced tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, garlic, and cilantro. Squeeze the lime juice into the mixture and add as much salt and pepper as you like. Stir it up and EAT IT! :thumbup:

See it sound yummy but my problem with homemade salsa's is the texture of tomatoes. Just don't like it, feels slimy. Which is probably why I like Chili's salsa, no recognizeable tomato bits. Course I guess I could just put the recipie in my mini cuisinart and mush it up a bit! Thanks for sharin'!!
 
Ohhh my homemade recipe is very similar...I don't get rid of any seeds, and substitue one of the jalapenos for a habnero and add a diced mango...its soooo yummy!
