*lol* Join the club, Col. The FT guy who does what I do during session yearound called in 'sick' today. This is, like, the 3rd time since the beginning of November, and I know perfectly well he is not sick. He's just using up his sick days for the year.

Of course, that means I do all the runs over to the Statehouse today, and wouldn't you know but the printers have not stopped printing things since I got here? Until last week, we were making 1 run a day. I've already gone over at 9 today, will have to go again at 11, and then at least once more this afternoon just to get the stack worked down to a more manageable level.

Yuck. :p
 
Ew! I hate when ppl call in "sick" just to use the days. Thank goodness we don't have to deal with that here. We get 4.62 hours of leave time every paycheck and can use them however we see fit.

This guy is driving me insane with a report for a stupid parking garage. I sent his boss my portion of the report 2 MONTHS ago. He comes over last monday and is all "hey, I'm putting this together, blah blah blah." So I said well do you have what I sent your boss? Yes. Ok, then just tell me if you need anything else. So I spend a day creating the most BS cost estimate you've ever seen in your life, and I figure I'm done. Then he emails me asking to reformat where I put the pictures in the report. Aka moving them from the top, to the bottom. Hello! A trained monkey could do that! You can't move them from the top to the bottom yourself?!!? THEN, this morning, he asks me to see him about the report. Turns out he never actually READ what I had sent (which is all BS anyway cuz the MTA is a bunch of morons who aren't going to know what I'm talking about anyway) and now he wants me to completely rewrite it.

Oh, and I have a big plan set submission in the next week or so which still needs MAJOR work. so I don't have TIME to write up a BS report just because he's lazy and the MTA is a bunch of morons. :cursing: :cursing:

Ugh, and the day started out so nicely too with a gorgeous sunrise. Hmph.
 
My anger has subsided for the most part. Not that enjoy writing BS reports, but it's better being outside inspecting bridges like I'm going to have to do soon. Trying to look on the bright side, though the day isn't giving me much to work with (spilled coffee on my pants, and my boss is being exceedingly annoying).
 
Must have but not sure.. I called in sick today so I don't have to deal with them.

Thanks Col!!! I really need a little break. Besides, I don't have a computer to work on. I would have had to take my laptop in to even work because my computer won't be there until later today or tomorrow.... :thumbdown:
