Hey Baby-Mamas

I'm wayyyyyy too lazy for formula. I just whip the boob out. I'm dying to be done... he's 10 months old and I went straight from Yorick to Phin... I've been either preggo or breastfeeding for 3 years now. sigh.

not sure what amounts to bulk - but 5+ yrs ago I ordered formula from Amazon and recently ordered a smaller canister (as a part-time suppliment) from diapers.com (because I've decided it's much easier to NOT go to walmart every 3 days - to get diapers by the big ole box delivered once a/every other week)

That's me...I live way out in the country so a trip to wal-mart is like a 40 minute round trip...I'm going at least once a week for formula and I'm thinking it would be easier to just order it in bulk from amazon..I have prime so it would be free 2 day shipping which makes the price about what I'm paying now..not cheaper but at least a less hassle for me. I buy her diapers in bulk at Sam's Club every month, but they don't have her type of formula so I'm stuck buying it at wal-mart.

I haven't, but never gave it a thought either. I have checked on Ebay before and sometimes there are people getting rid of extra cans, you might get a few cans cheap on there, I have never actually got any from Ebay though.

my sister used to sell formula on ebay. I think you have to be kinda careful with that though. You never really know what youd be getting like if it was expired or if you got something contaminated with something. I didnt know you could buy it on amazon but it seems like it would be worth it for the convenince

diapers.com is AMAZING---we used it for when we lived out in the country and use it for a friend who lives out in the country and we order her diapers and formula from there also! :)

I ordered from Amazon & there was a baby supply place that you could set up a standard order for diapers, wipes & forumla, so much of each sent every so many weeks. I got diapers at Sams usually but I used the online place to make sure I was sent a couple cans a month. They had the same generic brand forumula Safeway carried & it was nice to have one less thing to keep track of

I love diapers.com too. We ordered formula from there and I only buy diapers there. They get your order there in 2 days and it's free shipping for an order over $49. LOVE them

Yeah..I don't think I'd trust ebay for formula. I went ahead and ordered from amazon. I have prime shipping so didn't have to pay extra for that. I got 6 cans for 155 dollars which is just about what I'm paying per can right now.

I always looked into it, especially when one of my boys was on the very expensive Alimentum, but never made the purchase. They were the basic Similac with Iron formula and we could get the huge cans at Costco for way cheaper and use the $5 off coupons too!! Unfortunately I was unable to breastfeed past a month with all my boys so formula was the only way to go.

I know if you do subscriptions at Amazon.com, you get 15% off and free shipping. So, that's how you save money. We get diapers, wipes, pull ups, and toilet paper through Amazon.com subscriptions. I LOVE having delivered to my doorstep! You just tell them how much to send and how often (once a month/every two months/etc.). No all products are available for subscription though, so you might end up getting a brand that you're not used to. You should check it out though.
