I've been wanting to dye my hair blonde for a while now, and I'm actually gonna do it tonight! I went out and bought the kit...so everyone cross their fingers that it doesn't turn some crazy color and that I don't miss any spots... :)
 
Can't wait to see it!!

You know what I always say? Shopper's Drug Mart...Open Till Midnight! :D And I've been there buying hair dye at 11:35pm before! LOL
 
did you buy a bleaching kit and dye? you're going to want to "Dye" it blonde after you bleach.. otherwise.. well.. your hair will be interesting.
 
yeah if you try and go blonde on your brown w/out bleaching it first it's gonna be a nasty color...lol just fyi been there done that
 
I dyed mine from a dark, dark brown, and I was super happy with it! I did not do it myself though, I have my trusty stylist Joanne to do it for me, I'm too scared.

Can't wait to see!
 
Crap...no...just the dye. My neighbors said the same thing, bleach then dye. But I only had enough money for one, lol...
 
I think with brown hair blonde dye will turn it like a reddish/orange color (although I had a friend who turned her hair green trying to dye it blonde)
 
Well the box says that medium brown hair can do it without bleaching first, so...I went for it, lol...it's setting now. 20 more minutes...woot!
 
I will...it's late here and dark out, so pics won't turn out well...but I will take some in the morning. It turned out not quite what I expected and I put too much on the top of my head and not enough at the ends so it goes from very blonde to a darker blonde, lol. But it's actually not too bad, lol...it's a bit sassy.

Sweet! I am trying to go back to Brown well I guess I should rephrase that I am tried of fighting to stay blond so I went with a darker color last time I colored in hopes that I dont have to do it anymore. As long as you love it and are willing to put forth the effort it takes to keep it then you will be one happy lady!!! :D enjoy the new color!
 
Looks cute. I wish I had the courage to dye my own hair. I can't afford to keep myself blonde at the salon anymore.
