So I tried my hand at the Shutterbug challenge, but apparently my camera is different that others. Here's my problem..

I have a Kodak EasyShareDX7590. It has an "A" setting that says, "use for aperture priority settings".
The f-stop numbers are different that the ones in the tutorial. Mine are f/2.8, 3.2, 3.6, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.6, 6.3, 7.1, and 8.0. WTH?? I'm so confused. Is my camera just not the right type for this challenge or what?

ok well THAT doesn't sound right, lol!
Maybe it shows up different when you load them onto your comp?

that's because when you have it in aperture priority (v manual mode) it automatically adjusts the shutter speed to make the picture perfect again...

here, from wikipedia..hehe for more scientific explanation:

Aperture priority, often abbreviated Av (for Aperture value) or A on a camera dial, is a setting on some cameras that allows the user to choose a specific aperture value while the camera selects a shutter speed to match. The camera will ensure proper exposure.

Shutter priority refers to a setting on automatic cameras that ensures proper exposure by keeping the shutter speed fixed to a specific duration and adjusting the aperture in changing light levels.
