Parker is turning one in three weeks. His birthday is on Monday the 18th so I had to decide whether to party the weekend before or the weekend after... I meet wasband once a month to get Nathan for the weekend and I've decided in May I want to get him for Mother's Day weekend. Meaning...we're moving Parker's party up to the 9th. That's 9 days before his actual birthday but I don't care.
What I DO care about is that doing this shortens my planning time!
I will have to make a trip to the party supply store in Lexington this weekend and see what I can specifically get, but I need party ideas!
Since he'll only be one once and it's my LAST first birthday, I kind of want to do the baby boy blue "one" theme to the max. But it's a little cliche. But I kind of want to do it anyway
I think it would be so cute to do a Hawaiian theme and dress Naomi in a grass skirt, buy Parker a Hawaiian print shirt (my DH was born in HI), and give out Leis, etc....
That being said, I can totally use that idea any year and the "1" is only good for this once.
Help!
Do I go traditional or what?
My bf and I were pg together and she's doing bugs for her ds's party and they're doing it in the backyard. I think that's darling. But me, I'm stuck.
Thanks girls!
