HELP! Need mommy advice!

My ds is almost 2 ... but not yet ready to potty train. He's been in the habit of taking off his diaper, which I have successfully averted by keeping pants on him. Well, that doesn't work anymore. :( The other morning he managed to pull off both his pants and his diaper. (Thankfully, no messes!)

Later that afternoon, when I went in to get him up from his nap, he was diaperless again. Only this time, there were nice brown lumps littering the carpet. And evidence indicates he was using his front-end loader to dump them into the back of his pick-up trucks. I couldn't help but laugh, but I don't want this to repeat.

Anyone know where I can get size 4T pajamas with the feet and a zipper? (Yes, 4T--he's a tank!)

Any advice for me?

I've seen the 2-packs of Gerber PJ's with feet at wal-mart and I'm pretty sure they go up to 4T

Just be glad you found little brown lumps...I found DS covered in it once..like smeared from head to toe and all over the crib/walls/etc. yes it was gross lol

So gross, sweetie! He had some on him, but it was mostly on the floor and in his "machines," lol. I'll have to check Wal-Mart next time I'm in town.

My BF's DS does this and she actually started putting a small piece of... wait for it... DUCT TAPE! across the front tabs of his diapers. She also keeps him in onesies under his regular clothes to keep the diaperipping-off at bay.

I thought about duct tape, but I'm not sure it'll help in his case, as he's pulling down his diaper like underwear ... onesies are a good idea too, if I can find them his size, lolol! Thank you!

I never had to deal with that with DS and hoping not to with DD, but I have heard putting the diaper on backwards and duct tape, but if he's pulling them off like underwear that won't work. We have the footed pj's everywhere in town, but like Nikki said Wal-Mart has 2 packs. Good luck!

well, there's a whole separate thread with Megan's issues with Children's Place right now - but they have tons of footed pajamas there. Some are thinner, some are warm fleece kind. In larger sizes, too. In fact, on-line you can sometimes buy adult size to match the kids! (which I'm planning to do for the holidays this hear, LOL!)

*snicker* I have no advice, but I just wanted to say how I could picture him with the trucks...eww, and LOL at the same time!

Duct tape AND footie pajamas. Its a phase, then after it passes then you can get rid of the duct tape. Seriously, sounds like he'll figure out the footie pajamas if he's anything like my Kyle!! Those boys!!

I went through this with both my boys and it was gross. I had to start taping the diaper to keep it on. nothing else helped. Hope you can get it figured out
