for those of you that don't "do" Facebook...

those of you that have a significant other, do you cuddle before you go to bed? I mean in bed, obviously.

For example, I always lay on his shoulder for awhile, usually wind up falling asleep, and then he'll push me off and we roll our separate ways.

He thinks more couples than not DON'T do that. I dunno....

It tells me the content is unavailable right now so I'll just answer here. :)

My hubs snores so badly that I can't sleep next to him (super light sleeper here!). As it is, if we try to sleep next to each other I end up kicking and poking him and trying to get through the night without killing him rather than snuggling.

We usually watch a tv show or two together and get our snuggles in there and then go off to our separate bedrooms. We probably seem like the world's oldest young couple but this way at least I still love him in the morning! Lol!

We cuddle before we go to sleep. Like you, I lay on his shoulder until it gets to hot. Than I turn to the other side.

I can't see it either, but we spoon  puts us both to sleep fast and we move apart if we get hot or in our sleep. So yes :)

Answering here cause I don't want to be distracted by fb (apparently, being distracted by SSD still feels like "work" LOL)

We do as you do... I lay on his shoulder and the roll over to my own side of the bed (sometimes before falling asleep, sometimes after).

I'll be honest though... it's not by choice. By the time I get in bed at night, I'm EXHAUSTED and just want to be left alone to go to sleep (or read for a few minutes or whatever). It isn't that I don't love cuddling with my husband, but I"d just prefer to do it earlier in the evening, like while we're watching tv or something.

BUT physical touch is his love language and he LOVES bedtime snuggles, so I put forth the effort to show my love in that way.

We don't snuggle *SADLY!* He is afraid of cold and he has very warm body, whereas I have cold feet, hands and everything. Each time we snuggle for a bit long, he'll start to sweat and I hate that! :p

We don't even get in bed at the same time. :( I stay up a few hours later, and he can't sleep if I'm in the room using a laptop or tablet.

No way. When I get in bed I want to go to sleep. If we snuggle, other things happen. and I like other things, just not when I'm ready to go to sleep.

I snuggle him for a bit because he enjoys it, but I HAVE to fall asleep on my right side. No matter how hard I try, I can't fall asleep on my left side. I have to have my 2 pillows in the right position, holding my snuggle blanket, sheet up to my shoulders and comforter no higher than my waist or I. Can't. Fall. Asleep.

This! Plus I'm really hot and I sweat if someone touches me.. YUCK! I'm also not a toucher by nature. I hate people touching me or hugging me. Of course Murphy's Law is my husband loves hugs/cuddles/touching.

On a side note Laura I don't think we're FB friends so I just answered here.

This exactly!
Plus, I feel uncomfortable...his body temperature is higher than mine and I feel too hot when we snuggle.

We are a tangled knot when we sleep. If I drift away in the middle of the night my hubby pulls me back in.

Aww. That's sweet. I always think it looks so romantic on movies and stuff, but I just need my space, so I've learned to let the guilt go.

Do you face the outside of the bed? I wonder if it's because I have to face the outside, but I'm like that on the couch and sofa too. If I'm on the right end of the sofa, I still have to lay on my right side, which means my face is squashed into the back cushions.

We'll cuddle/snuggle while we're watching a movie or something, but once we go to bed it's SLEEP time. One goodnight kiss and it's see ya tomorrow!
