I've been shopping for clothes for our yearly pics.... here's my outfit:

I LOVE both dresses, and I think your pictures will turn out SOOOOOOOOO cute! But I voted for the pink dress.
 
I voted for pink/pink, but really I think any dress would be cute, though I would make sure it is not brown. Let her stand out a little bit. :)
 
are you stuck on getting her in a dress? Crazy8 has a cute fall line that would match you and DH and give allie some pops of color

Thanks guys! I love the look of those pants but I don't think I'm tall enough to pull them off. Stupid VS and their crazy model sizes. :D
 
I was just looking at the VS jeans and they say 34" inseam???? Reallllly????? There's no hope for me, lol!!

BTW, I voted for the brown dress with pink hat!! Sooo cute!! :wub:

Yep, I found the 30" inseam link and they actually do have a lot of options now. Not those exact ones but still. I know in the past they didn't have that many options so yay.

And umm, yeah sorry for the total hijack of the thread! :o Back to the topic at hand, I voted for the pink dress because while I like the style of the brown one a lot more, I think that might be too much brown. I'd probably go for more of a coordinating color scheme, rather than something too matchy just to add some interest and contrast in the photos.

And I emailed my photog with a link to this thread... she is kinda thinking the same thing as you... pink dress with a brown hat with pink flowers. And then add a matching pink cami under my sweater to tie the color in more.
 
It's a special picture... I say splurge on the dress you love (I like it best too). If you don't, you'll kick yourself every time you look at the pictures!

I have a pair of black pants from VS that I looooooooove. But they are DEF too long for my 5'-4" body, lol.
I'm obsessed with trouser jeans. I love them. And I'm not above buying a pair that I love and going and getting them hemmed to a decent length. Hemming isn't THAT expensive, and it's worth it sometimes. Just throwin' that out there.

I love VS. They used to have really bad quality stuff, but not anymore. I buy from them all the time. Especially sweaters. I drool over their sweaters, lol. I LOVE the one you picked Megan!

Coupons: they were all on the VS website! But you can find some by googling too! I used FALL09 to get $15 off my $100 order. Then I also used a coupon to save 25% off my jeans (DENIM25). Not sure if the jeans code is still valid because I don't see them advertising it anymore.

And the dresses are from Gap. Here's the brown one... and the pink one!!
 
The jeans code is good through today I believe. I was browsing a few of their catalogs last night and I'm pretty sure it was good til the 4th. Of course that could have been the 4th at like 12:01 AM, but it's worth a shot. :p
