Help! Diaper Rash!

A close friend of mine swears by Bag Balm. Her dd had tons of rashes as a baby and it always cleared them up. I use Desitin Creamy which works well for my ds :)
I hope it gets better soon!!! :D

Anytime Bordeaux's butt paste doesnt work for us we use Lotramin and Hydrocortisone cream and that does the job. Our ped said 1-2/day will do it. Kills off the fungus pretty quick.

Good luck, hope it goes away quick!

We always used maloxx (milk of magnesia) and aquaphor or neosporin on our girls. The maloxx would soothe it instantly and the aquaphor or neosporin would clear it up quickly. We would mix it together to make a paste 2 parts aquaphor/neosporin to 1 part maloxx (it's kinda hard to mix up, so it wasn't always perfect but still worked well).

When Kyra got it bad I always got the stuff that they have behind the counters. Nystatin it always worked within hours. You don't need a prescription just ask for it.

Poor baby! We used baby oil and cotton balls instead of wipes, then slather a thick layer of Desitin (the blue one). Hope she gets better soon!

OK, I mix this up and keep it in my fridge b/c it's safe for cloth diapers, and it sounds totally weird, but it works better than anything I've ever bought. Mix olive oil, MOM or Mylanta, and corn starch until you get a pasty consistency. Then slather that baby every chance you get. lol. Nakey time works great too.

sorry little ella is going thru this - cant help with recommendations other than not using wipes cos we don't have the same products here in Aust

Thanks for all the suggestions..I've learned a lot from y'all lol!

Her little bottom is much improved today...it's still there but seems to be not so red and just isolated to 2 spots now. It's amazing how fast it just popped up b/c one diaper change she was fine and the next she was practically blistered it was so bad. Anyway, hopefully it'll be gone in a day or so. Thanks again!

In my experience, those are the types of diaper rashes that are food related. Maybe something you ate (if you are breastfeeding) irritated her little bum?
