Help a newbie out...

Hello everyone!
First I should introduce myself...
My name is Holly, everyone calls me Holly Ann (Ann is my middle name)...I'm 23 years old, a full time student and a full time hostess at a restaurant. I'm pretty new to the digital scrapbooking world. I've been a "traditional paper" scrapbooker for about 4 years now. I have a passion for photography, photoshop and meaningful quotes. I also have a large obsession with Marilyn Monroe and Tinkerbell. (I know, its kinda a weird combo) So there's a little bit about me.

I have a few questions, and was hoping someone could help me out.
I've been lurking around the forum and I've noticed everyones avatars and signatures. My questions are these: How do I make the button-like avatars? And I've seen adorable sketch-like stick figures in many signatures, how can I get one of those? (if possible)

Welcome Holly Ann!!! I'm pretty sure most of the button's are actually "flair" from the Facebook App! And the FABULOUS Lauren Grier (aka La) made all the adorable cuties. She is a designer here at SSD and she has custom avvies for sale in her shoppe here I believe! HTH!
 
The cuties in the siggies are on vacation right now. Not sure when Lauren plans to bring them back.

I actually love Tink and Marylin myself (not an obsession but i love them too!)
 
Welcome!! Tracie's templates are way easy to use - I did mine and this is the first time I've made one so I'd call that a success. Good luck!
