Hi all! I am brand new to this forum and I can't wait to get to know you all soon! My name is Emily and I am 25 and married to the love of my life Chris. We have been married 5 years... no children yet! I haven't ever scrapbooked online or really in person... my main reason for joining was to purchase blog templates.. I noticed some very pretty designs from the design team and I am just dying to know how I can purchase them. Can someone please help me?? :p

WElcome! Oh..you should give it a shot...it's a blast and once you pick up this digi-scrappin' you can't put it down!
 
I use PSCS2 (photo shop) and I scrapped my 1st page following a tutorial from Digi Scrapping Tutorials. Most programs have free trial downloads you can try out first and you can always Google for tutorials.
 
Download a trial version and see what you like. I use CS2 as well but it's EXPENSIVE! LOL! (Lucky for me, my company has a license and my bf works in the IT department ;) )

But yea, there are tons of more affordable programs out there that you can use.
Planet Photoshop has great tutorials. I started dabbling and playing by learning how to do "selective coloring". I enjoyed doing that so much I just started fiddling with things, lol. And it's definitely like Hom74 said (sorry, new here too and don't know your name!), once you start it's crazy addicting!

Welcome! I'm another who just taught myself with online tutorials. I use Photoshop Elements. You can download a free trial for 30 days from the Adobe website! :)
 
Welcome! I say you should give it a try too! I use photoshop, but I think Photoshop Elements is fairly good and relatively inexpensive to purchase!

Wonderful to see you here...and just a warning with the digi...it is REALLY REALLY REALLY addictive and before you know it you will be the Digi Scrappin Queen.

Hey Emily - welcome to SSD - It took me ages to decide to try digiscrapping and not very long at all to understand the addiction!!
I think most people use Adobe Photoshop - Elements is the cut down version but it still has oodles of functions - more than you'll need to go a long way - and its more economical on the pocket! Hope you decide to give it a shot! Theres plenty of room for more scrappers!
 
Hi Emily! Welcome to SSD. It's very addicting here but once you start you wont stop. The sweet shoppe is loaded with wonderful goodies - loaded with calories..LOL! We cant wait to see your first LO!
