I've been lurking for quite some time now, about a year or so to be exact and thought that now would be a good time to introduce myself.

My name is Leah and I am from Manitoba, Canada. I live in a beautiful home, on an acreage (we just moved this summer), with my husband of 7.5 years and our 3 children - Sydney (5.5yrs.), Livia (4yrs.) and Ethan (20 mos.)
We have 2 dogs and 4 cats (outdoor animals).

I've been a closet-digi-scrapper for quite some time, as I've really tried to stick with paper-scrapping, but I just love the digital world a little too much! hehe Photography is my hobby, my passion and I just love turning my pictures into a work of art - or so I like to think!

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you - I've seen some really amazing work and inspiration here!!

You don't have to give up paper...I see you make some great cards :)

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the compliments on my paper crafting!!

I do have a couple of questions...
Just through looking at all the different challenges, is there one inparticular that you would recommend (besides all of them! hehe)?

Also, just out of interest, do most of you scrap one or two page layouts?

I've always gone for the 2-page layouts, mostly because I've worked with paper and that's just how they go in my album.
What is your preference?

I'm a one page layout scrapper, but i was as a paper gal too - two pages just stressed me out! :)

Sooo happy to have you here, glad you introduced yourself! :)
 
I papered for years..and always did 2 pagers..and since moving to digi I think i've done TWO 2 pagers. I really wish I had started digi as 2 pagers b/c it would make my albums sooo much easier lol

I say up to you! Get a feel for it first then decide :) It's incredibly addicting though lol

As for the challenges..they are all great!! I personally love the cookie challenge and the spin a lifts. Best part the more you do the more points you get and can earn % off in the store!!

If you ever feel like you're lacking inspiration the Cooking Decorating 101 Challenge is great. I do that one quite a bit, although I never post my LOs for some reason. My preggo brain isn't capable of anything unique and creative at this point, so the templates are great!

I scrap one pagers. Two would be overwhelming for me. I used to paper scrap, but gave that up fairly quickly. I have a few 2-pagers in paper, but none in digi.

I usually scrap 1 page hate trying to do 2:unsure:
As for the challenges, Try the cookie template, or the spin-a-lift. I think those would be great if your starting out :), HTH

Even when I paper scrap I rarely do 2 pagers, which is weird now that I'm thinking about it, lol. I have yet to make a 2 pager in digi. Now I'm gonna have to challenge myself to do it.

I love the spin-a-lifts and the cookie decorating.
