Headlamps, Anyone?

I'm looking to buy headlamps for myself and my hubby so we can run/walk when it's dark outside. Have any of you used a headlamp for outdoor exercise? Do you have recommendations for a brand or specific model of headlamp that you have used and liked? Amazon reviews always get me all confused, so I'm looking for recommendations from my friends.

I would go to Cabella's and look at them! I always like testing things out first hand before buying them
