Having A Kid Who Must Be Part-Cat

My 2.5yo son is a real mama's boy. I mean really really really.

He is currently sitting at/on my feet while I type this which means he is sitting underneath the dining room table. There are no toys or books to look at, and his sister is playing in the basement. He is talking to himself but refuses to budge.

This is what cats are like, right?! I expect him to start purring and rubbing up against my leg any second. :p

I also found him pressed up against me in bed this morning when I woke up.

His sister liked being close to me at this age but not to this level. He is a master mama's boy.

Anyone else got a mama's boy (or gurl) like I do?!

Awww! That's one of those sweet things that I would have loved on some days and been driven quietly nuts by on others, back when my kids were little enough to be all over me all day, every day and the idea of more than 10 minutes by myself was the ultimate fantasy! All 3 of mine were very cuddly with me, and it's funny because my oldest was very "hands off" with everyone except me. At 13 he still gives me lots of hugs, and I'm enjoying them while I get them!

LOL!
My 4yo is still very cuddly and kissy with me! He says 'I love you' so often and I love it!

here my all 3 are cuddly and kissy. And like Sheryl they say often "i love you"
I love it, you know know when they stop doing that. that they think they ar to old or something

He he Keaton is similar, yelps if I leave the room and follows me everywhere. If I go to make a cup of tea he will relocate to the kitchen with the toy he was playing with and then follow me back again. It's so sweet really but would be nice to pee or poo in peace :D

My son was definitely like that, too. Now that he is nine he is getting better about it. He is still pretty cute though. On the rare days that I get to drop him off at school he will always blow me a kiss when he walks away. He still knows how to melt my heart.
