Have you met any SSD (or other digi-place) chicks IRL?

We definitely need to do a Wichita get together! :) I'm just an hour and a half away and don't mind driving at all! ;) I didn't realize Libby moved to KS until this thread either! There are quite a few of us around here. :)

I haven't met anyone from the digi world but I've met a few ladies from my mommy board IRL. :)
 
I've met manderin oranges (Amanda) :) she hasn't been around lately. Ummm - and I want I want to meet more! (we need to do a WI/MN/IL meet-up in the Dells...anyone up for it?)

I'm gonna be in Kansas City on June 19th for a seminar - anyone up for meet-up?
 
We are going to Branson next month too!

I have not been anyone yet but live in AZ. I think there are quite a few Arizona girls here.
 
Libby, I didn't know you were in Wichita! I keep thinking Shawna and I should get together and do photos of each other's families. I want family pics done so badly this summer (for my 40th birthday and our 20th anniversary) and I'm just too cheap to pay a lot of money for it. I am definitely up for a Wichita meet up!

Also, Kellie (joelsgirl) is coming to my 40th birthday party in Branson in July. July 16, Branson -- everyone is invited. We're going to hit the dueling piano bar and have a great time. I'll be in Branson July 16-25, and this month from June 12-20. If anyone is in the area, I'm always open to a meet.

My son and Amanda's (GracieLou) son were in kindergarten together this past year. We've gotten together several times for coffee and scrapping/photography dates. :)
 
I got to meet Amy Bleser at, oddly enough, a predominately paper scrapping retreat last month! We were the only 2 digi girls there. I didn't get to chat with her much but she seemed really sweet!

I know there are a lot of Texas girls I hope to meet one day!
 
I've not met anyone IRL yet...I'm in Illinois like a lot of other digiscrappers, but I'm at least a couple of hours away from them all since I live in Southern Ill. I think it would be awesome to meet Nikki (Hawkins)....both of our kids are the same age and I think we'd all have a blast together. I'd especially love to see Ella and Claire together!! :)

I was supposed to be at that one but had to miss and SO bummed! So far, I've only met Priscilla, but I know several gals live in the area. We need another meet up in Austin or San Antonio.... since I'm off for summer now, maybe I'll try to get that going. :)
 
Um, Kristin Cronin-Barrow and I live about 20 minutes or so away from each other, we get together once or twice a year, and run into each other (or I run into her hubby) occasionally (since they do their grocery shopping where I live). We "met" each other for the first time 5 years ago. And we are going to get together again on Wednesday, since I have to be in her community for my two middles to play their soccer games.

Oh cool. One of my girlfriends lives in La Vernia. I live near Sea World. I will PM ya and we can do lunch or something one day soon. :thumbup:

I was suppose to meet up with a bunch of girls this July in Chicago, but Keira got cancer, so hopefully next year.

I met Amy (clearskies) when we lived in Alaska, she walked up to my yard sale.

Back in February I got to meet Leigh, MandaBean, Heather Roselli, & Melissa Bennett, and it was great. Hopefully next time I head down south I'll see them again.

Yes, and I didn't realize that until La's chat at DST recently! We should plan a ginormous mid-America meetup...I vote for here :p. DFW and Wichita are both about 3-3.5 hours away from the OKC metro.

Aww I'd love to take photos of your family this summer Kim! We haven't had any good family photos done since Kelsie was little, and definitely none that I can think of since Kyle came along so I'd love to have some done too! We will definitely have to plan a Wichita meet up since there's so many of us now!
 
I haven't met any other digi scrappers from online but back in my paper scrapping days I met a couple of the other DT members from a site I was on. One of which was actually living in the town I grew up in and when I moved back we became fast friends (she was in a LD relationship with her now husband and my DH was traveling a lot for work) and we spent lots of time together (irl and on the phone). Neither of us live there anymore and we don't talk nearly as often but we rarely have a phone conversation that lasts less than an hour.

Hoping I get a chance to meet Laura (emmasmommy) for a zoo trip at some point this summer. I've actually known her online about as long as I've known anyone from the digiscrapping world so would be really cool to meet her.

Hey, I was at Sea World San Antonio 2 summers ago when I was at Lackland for training. I was thinking that was a really beautiful area there.

that stinks! but KC is only like 3 hrs from me - so hopefully some other time!! (pretty sure DH and I will be stopping there for a night while on our way to Branson labor day weekend - maybe we could try then?)
 
not yet, but vanessa and i are going to meet up sometime when she's in my neck of the woods. i *have* met a few people from other (non-scrappy) message boards though. :)
 
I've met Rebecca... and hopefully soon will get to meet Laura and Laura... we've made plans but someone always gets sick or something comes up... but I'm determined to meet them this summer.
 
Not yet, but i'm seriously hoping to meet some Texas and Arizona girls in Sept/Oct this year when we are in the US. I just need to sort out our schedule and and route and then I'll be posting to see if anyone is interested in getting together for lunch. :)
 
I met Traci Reed at a digi-crop in Sacramento a few years ago...we shared the same table. There were other non SSD girls there too. I had lunch in San Diego with a bunch of non SSD girls a few years back as well.

I had lunch with Lizzy Reiber a few months ago before she sailed off on her Mexican cruise!
 
I have met other digi-scrappers IRL from another site that I used to be active on. I don't really know too many people from this site yet though. Although Laura, the OP, and I meet over 3 years ago on our birth boards when we were both pg with our boys.
