Have you ever been punched?

I know, totally random, but I'm watching Little House and Charles is fighting (of course) and it made me wonder what it would feel like to get seriously punched in the face.

Or have you ever punched someone yourself?
 
Yep, my sister punched me in the face and broke my nose when I was about 15 - does not feel good I can tell you that! :D
 
I have never been punched but I have thrown a punch. Back story....I was at a bachelorette party at a bar many years ago. Had 5 or 10 drinks in me. The bar owner's daughter was this nasty chick that would not back the truck up. A scuffle ensued. Imagine throwing punches under a strobe light. It felt like slow motion punching. LOL! Let's just say she was kicked out and our group happily danced the rest of the night away.
 
Never in the face. My first boyfriend and I were goofing around and exchanging punches. I hit him all over while he hit me again and again in the same spot on my arm. I was black and blue from shoulder to elbow with a broken blood vessel. Ugh, the stupid things you do as a teenager.
 
I was just talking about how weird it is that school kids make appointments to fight -- like, "in the parking lot, after school". I guess I'm a chicken or something but I don't think I would ever actually get in a physical fight. Maybe only if I was protecting someone? So, I guess you can tell that my answer is no.
 
Definitely not. No one even knew I was alive in high school so no bullying or fighting for me.
 
I've been in a few fights but have never been punched (or punched a person.... I have released anger on things... cement walls hurt :p). I was picked on a LOT in school for being a "Big Girl" and bullies would always go too trying to work me up and tick me off... (I seriously wish I could redo school now... not that I would go back and still be 'big' BUT it's more socially acceptable now plus they now actually make stylish clothes for larger teens.... and the zero tolerance of bullying of any kind that is now enforced...I just wonder how different things may be or if I would have turned out differently with less anger issues in my adult life).
 
No. I have been slapped hard in the face and had my hair pulled (girl fight) but never punched. And I didn't fight her back, I was trying to get the heck away from her!!! :blink:
 
So, does it make a sound at all? Like, I'm SURE it doesn't sound like on TV, but there has to be some kind of sound.

Yeah, all I remember is the crunching sound of my nose... and me screaming some not nice words at the time :D She was mad at me because I was on the phone and she wanted to use it so she hauled off and punched me in the face. It wasn't even like we were in a fight or anything. I was stunned to say the least.

Yup...almost 2 years ago on the MBTA. It was when we were having record snow and the T wasn't running very well and tempers were a bit stressed. A fight broke out on the car I was on and I wasn't able to duck fast enough away from the errant punch that came in my direction and caught a glancing blow across the side of my face. Can't say if there really was any sound since it wasn't a solid hit. I was also too stunned and trying to get away from any other punches to really notice.
