Does this site have a "Leave Some Love" thread? I started my gallery here, finally, and got lots of views but no comments. Am I really a bad scrapper? Or am I just being too sensitive? I know you have to leave love to get love, which I try to do once day when time allows. I have seen some wonderful LOs in this gallery too. A lot of very TALENTED ladies belong to this site. Well, sorry I bent your ears and thanks for listening.
 
ok.. what happened to my post? hahahaha Anyway, what I had said was that I know some of the girls had something in the works planned regarding this. Hopefully we shall see it soon! Don't worry though, overall comments have been low in our gallery (thus the planning) :) It's certainly nothing against you. I'll take a peak in your gallery in a bit :)
 
Thank you for replying. I'm glad it isn't me. I don't why people don't visit this gallery on a regular basis?? There are some really GREAT LOs in that gallery. You ladies have a lot of talent and deserve to have people see your galleries. I hope we get something started soon. That would be great.
 
I've noticed it too, and I browse through the gallery here and am amazed at all the gorgeous layouts without any love. I think, though, that most people have a "main" gallery at DST or MSA or someplace like that, and then they only post SSD stuff here, so maybe that's why there's not a lot of loving going on.

I think all shoppe galleries are like that, though. You've definitely been putting some cute stuff up, though!

And it's great, Lauren, to know that there are plans in the works to address this!
 
I think it is all hit and miss...
Some of my most favorite layouts don't get all the comments I think they will and sometimes I am suprised at the ones that get a lot!

(But I KNOW I need to be sooooo much better about leaving comments on others layouts!!!) My biggest weakness!

Off to leave some love!
 
Hey Nonnie :) I agree with Kellie that most people already have a main gallery set up at someplace like DST or SBB where there is an open policy and they have things like the praise game going on, etc.

The Sweet Shoppe Gallery was originally created as an "Inspiration Gallery" where people could come find inspiration for the products they purchased in the shoppe and was later expanded to include areas for our challenge participants to play along with us and our fans to share the work they created using our designer's goodies.

Because we arent an open gallery I think generally speaking our traffic in the gallery is a little quieter than other places. I know there are lots of people looking for inspiration and IMO we have the MOST gorgeous gallery in digi-land but it just hasn't ever been a 15-20 comments kind of place.

We may have something in the works to get people commenting around here, but if it remains slow, know that there are lots of people looking and finding inspiration here so share those layouts. I know I love going into the gallery and just saying oooh and aahh at a glance even if I dont have time to comment every day :)
