Has anyone used iphoto for printing books?

I got my first book back from Apple today using iphoto. I'm a little disappointed with how much of my pages were lost in the gutter. Just wondering how do you correct for this or do you just stay a short distance from vertical edges with journaling and important things. I had done the entire book of our Disney Vacation and cruise and put Hidden Mickey's on every page. Some of the Mickey are lost in the gutter!! I would love to get some ideas about this. Im thinking if it is too hard, just switching to 12x12 format and have them printed individually but I love the look of the bound book! Here is the link to my book I had created

Thanks for your help

I was wondering about this as well. It seems as if it cuts off the bottom half of my pages which are usually 8x8...

I know Shutterfly is an option, but I really wanted to use iPhoto.

If anyone was wondering, I figured that if you do one picture per page, all you have to do is right click (on Macs you would do control/click) and choose "Fit Photo to Frame Size" and your digital scrapbook page should look normal.
