Has anyone else had problems saving files in PSE 14?

I mostly shop on here. I don't post much, but I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem.

I've been using various iterations of PSE for about eight years, but since upgrading to pse 14, I keep running into this problem where it tells me that I can't save the files because they are bigger than 2 GIGS. I don't know what would have caused them to balloon like this.

I found an explanation of the bug on the Adobe forums, but I wasn't able to figure out what to do so that I can keep scrapping. Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it? I'm not an Adobe expert AT ALL, but I would like to be able to keep scrapping.

Hi - did you ever find a solution? I'm new as well, and just ran into the same issue. I purchased one of Cindy's amazing layered templates and spent the better part of an hour playing with it. I was trying to pre-scrap a page for next month, save as psd and add the photos later. I hope I don't have to start all over!

OK so I read more threads, which I should have done first. Saved my page as a TIFF file and it seems to work just fine.
