Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians!

I'm so excited for a nice long weekend to enjoy some time with my family and, of course, to partake in some yummy food!

It's going to just be "us" this year (hubby, me and the kids) so I'm taking it easy in the food department -- just a ham, some stuffing, cranberry sauce, and salad. For dessert, I'm buying pie from my fave bakery and we'll have some french vanilla ice cream to go with it. Yumm-o!

If we get some warm weather, we'll go for a hike. If not, movies and hot chocolate works too!

Thanks! I am actually already at my sister's house for the weekend in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. We always come over here for Thanksgiving and we have a wonderful time. I love Thanksgiving one of my top 2 Holidays for sure! I hope all my fellow Canucks have a great Turkey Day too!

We're going light for this Thanksgiving also, but we usually do for the first thanksgiving of the year... (we're an 'Americanadian" family so we celebrate both). Our firewood is being delivered this week-end, so it's going to be a work around the house week-end, so I see lots of hot chocolate, hot cider and coffee in the next couple of days.

Hi Lori! Where in the Annapolis Valley? That's where I live.... I'm down at the South end.... Bear River/Digby area, but have lived and have family in the Kentville area too
