Yup... I am officially old. I turn 42 years old today. Ugh!! Well at least I have quite a few years before the big five-oh! 50 really does seem old. LOL

Here is a little poem for y'all that my Mama used to recite to me on my birthday every year when I was a little girl. My daughter, Joy, woke me up this morning and recited it to me.
Today I had a birthday
and I would like to say
I don’t feel one bit different
than I did yesterday.

I was 41 years old last night
when i crawled into bed
but when I woke this morning
your 42 now my daughter said.

I thought that I’d look older
when this birthday really came
but I looked in the mirror
and found I looked the same.​
