So, did you hear Libby celebrated her one-year Anniversary as a Sweet Shoppe designer with the FANTASTIC kit Porkchops and Applesauce?? Because I think Libby is just about the greatest EVER and she's the reason I started exploring the SSD community in the first place, I thought as a little Thank You for all her Wonderful-ness, I'd make her a little Virtual Anniversary gift...and we all know the standard anniversary gift is a bouquet of flowers, right? So here's what I did with Porkchops and Applesauce:
I printed out several of the patterned papers and coordinating solids in about 4x4 squares and then used my Slice Digital Cutter (and the Basics 2 design card) to cut out the 5-petal flowers in 2-different sizes. I layered them on top of each other, made 2 identical copies of each flower and glued the identical copies back to back. I stuck a branch in between to make the stem, then added a few of Libby's many-petaled flowers to the mix. I added some brads, buttons and hemp twine for a little dimensional embellishment and stuck them all into some of that green flower arranging foam stuff. I shoved that into the bottom of the little metal pail and added some Kraft-colored "stuffing", and VOILA! A Happy Anniversary flower bouquet!!
So anyway, Happy Anniversary Libby!!! Love ya babe!!!
