so I'm outta here.....well not really leaving because of the hurricane even though it's forecast to go right over us tomorrow night, but I 'm going to Fort Bragg to visit some friends and have a "hurricane party" so I'll miss my power going out and all that fun stuff...i hope. Fort Bragg is a little farther inland than I am. My dh works at Seymour Johnson AFB and our planes all were flown out today , they are letting everyone off for the day and we even got word that our schools are only having 1/2 day so we're outta here and gonna go play with friends :thumbup:

Luckily it doesn't look like Hannah is going to do much. I'm about 2.5 hrs inland so we'll be fine. Just some rain and wind.
I do remember Fran in 96 when I was at ECU in Greenville. Now THAT was a hurricane party! Not funny though, it did a lot of damage and the cars in the parking lots on campus were literally covered in water, big mess.

I'm far enough in the state that we'll only get some rain and maybe light wind. My DH is traveling, though, and is in that area. He'll be coming home first thing in the morning...yikes!
