O.k., I am getting my hair cut this Friday and I want something different. I am ready for a change. The problem is that I have curly/wavy hair. I don't want to spend an hour straightening it.:crying: Help a girl out and show me some styles that are simple yet stylish for curly hair ... I am really clueless on what to do. Here is the most recent pic of me (it is blurry because the guy taking it didn't know to focus on people and not the background ;) ):

Sigh ... I need a change. :p Thanks in advance!

hey don't be afraid to go short with curly hair!! alot of styles fit very well with that natural wave/curl look. also layers always help because it helps give lift and makes sure you don't way down your curls.

like I love styles like the curly bob

sorry I couldn't find any better pictures of what I'm talking about

the key will be for you to find great products so you don't have to flat iron. Also don't be afraid to "cocktail" products. like I use a volumizing foam with a medium gel for the curls.

just talk to your stylist, they should give you tons of advice!! :)

I'm in the same boat... I've been trying to hold off so I can donate my hair to locks of love, but I'm starting to get the itch.... UGH!!

I liked Kimberly's hair on the bachelor last night... but it's straight...

Hmmmm, never thought about "coctailing" products! Sounds like fun!! :D Short bob ... hmmmm, I like it ...

I would LOVE that cute hair style Rebecca, but I won't straighten every day! ;)

Sorry, I have stick straight hair and can't do a thing with it, so I have no idea what to do with curly hair, but I am always jealous of those girls who have long, wavy hair and it just looks like its doing something other than hanging there like mine does.

BTW, ignore the avi picture for this, I paid someone to do that to my hair.

Sympathy from a fellow curly who can only get her hair to do 1 style! But I've spent some time experimenting with hair products (and yes, cocktailing) and it has made a big difference. I can finally control the frizz and have nice curls most days. I wasted a lot of money trying different things, but the one that has worked the best for me was from a stylist's recommendation.
