*gulp* The time has come! (Update on pg 4)

You will absolutely be in my thoughts sweetheart! Lots of luck with your walk, I know you can do it!!

I had a little contact with Colleen this evening..she said she walked 22.5 miles today and she's still alive :)

Hopefully she'll give an update tomorrow too!!

That is awesome!! Thanks for posting the update! I can't imagine how she's feeling, but hopefully she's in good spirits, this being for such a great cause!

((hug col)) that is amazing and I know how hard it was when we did the walk for life for my grandma...i was feeling it for a few days lol. You're doing an amazing thing.

Awwww you ladies are the greatest!! Thanks for updating for me Meg :)

I'm alive, and I'm doing better than I thought I would today, lol. I took the day off from work and Jordan called in last night after he met me and saw the shape I was in, lol. So he's been taking good care of me today. Not that it was hard, I slept from like 1 to 4, LOL!!

We walked 23.5 miles on friday, 21 on saturday, and 16 or so yesterday. And o.m.g. are my puppies tired. It was the hardest, most emotionally challenging but rewarding thing I've ever done. My feet and legs and shoulders are all achey today, and I've got some mondo blisters to take care of as well. But, as one of the cheerers wrote in sidewalk chalk on a GIANT hill yesterday, it doesn't hurt as much as chemo would. And I walked to try and end that sort of thing for all the women out there. And let me tell you, it's like they spend the whole weekend TRYING to make you cry! Lol! Between the opening and closing ceremonies, where they did special presentations involving survivors who were walking with us, to the 300+ person cheering station that made me cry on day 2 (a little girl holding a sign that says "Someday I want ta-tas to save" ?!?!! COME ON NOW!!!) I am SPENT! LOL!

For real though, thank you so much for the kind words and good vibes you sent this weekend, I totally appreciate it :) I won't be walking next year, cuz I'll be getting married or on my honeymoon, but I definitely plan on being involved again in the future :)

aw col! your update made me cry, it is an amazing thing isn't it? I know what you mean, I was a mess durring the walk for life we did. And yes that little girls sign was to cute.

Col you are my hero! Congrats on finishing! It really brought tears to my eyes reading your recap. I'm sure it was just an amazing experience. Thank you for walking!

Col, that is so amazing! I'm glad you had a wonderful, even if it was emotional, experience. You are a hero to me! We had the Relay for Life here, and our itty bitty town of 3000 raised $21,000.

Congrats on your accomplishment!

As I said before...YOU are my hero Col. My SIL was diagnosed but thankfully VERY early and is good to go now but a friend of mine was not so lucky and is on her second round of chemo right now. So thanks so much for all you did, you are AWESOME!!!!!
