Awwww you ladies are the greatest!! Thanks for updating for me Meg
I'm alive, and I'm doing better than I thought I would today, lol. I took the day off from work and Jordan called in last night after he met me and saw the shape I was in, lol. So he's been taking good care of me today. Not that it was hard, I slept from like 1 to 4, LOL!!
We walked 23.5 miles on friday, 21 on saturday, and 16 or so yesterday. And o.m.g. are my puppies tired. It was the hardest, most emotionally challenging but rewarding thing I've ever done. My feet and legs and shoulders are all achey today, and I've got some mondo blisters to take care of as well. But, as one of the cheerers wrote in sidewalk chalk on a GIANT hill yesterday, it doesn't hurt as much as chemo would. And I walked to try and end that sort of thing for all the women out there. And let me tell you, it's like they spend the whole weekend TRYING to make you cry! Lol! Between the opening and closing ceremonies, where they did special presentations involving survivors who were walking with us, to the 300+ person cheering station that made me cry on day 2 (a little girl holding a sign that says "Someday I want ta-tas to save" ?!?!! COME ON NOW!!!) I am SPENT! LOL!
For real though, thank you so much for the kind words and good vibes you sent this weekend, I totally appreciate it

I won't be walking next year, cuz I'll be getting married or on my honeymoon, but I definitely plan on being involved again in the future
